E.g. the name Nacon would mean: push, blow and was used after the death of Uzzah to the place where he died. However the place received another name referring to the event of Uzzah’s death: “and he [David] called that place Perez-Uzza to this day,” (1 Chronicles 13:11).

Elementary names
The most elementary solution is that the words Nacon and Chidon refer to names of the owner of the threshing floor.
Nacon means “trustworthy, reliable”. Many times the word is used in the Old Testament in this way, e.g. 1 Samuel 23:23 where Saul says: “return to me with certainty (reliable information);”.

Nickname
Chidon means “spear, javelin”. Enough times (8) used in the Old Testament, e.g. Joshua 8:18, “Stretch out the javelin that is in your hand toward Ai, for I will give it into your hand.” (Short spelling of 1 Chronicles 13:9 is also used in Jeremy 50:42.)
The nickname “Spear” suggests that Nacon was not only a reliable individual, but also a feared fighter with his spear in times of war.

So where did Uzzah die? At the threshing floor of Nacon who also had the nickname Chidon (and not Childon as the critic mistakenly wrote).

No Bible Contradiction

Additional
Let us avoid the suggestion that Uzzah will be excluded from “the bundle of the living” (lost for eternity). For a moment he forgot that the ark was the sign of God's covenant with Israel and that nobody was permitted to touch it. We should remind that the death of Uzzah was more the result of an accidental overstepping the mark than by rebellion against God.

There are two names given for the owner of the threshing floor where Uzzah died. “What was the right name and what was the wrong name?” the critic complains.

[3,16,1

post-3420","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-1-chronicles","category-2-samuel","category-uncategorized
["GET
https://www.contradictingbiblecontradictions.com/index.php?rest_route=%2Fwp%2Fv2%2Fcomments&post=3420
https://www.contradictingbiblecontradictions.com/index.php?rest_route=/wp/v2/posts/3420/revisions/3424
https://www.contradictingbiblecontradictions.com/index.php?rest_route=%2Fwp%2Fv2%2Fcategories&post=3420
