Supposed Bible Contradiction
Acts 7:4 says that Abram didn't leave Haran until after his father died. That happened when Abram was 135 (Genesis 11:26, 32) and then he left Haran.
So how is it possible that Abram, living in Haran at the same time, had the child named Ishmael in Canaan at the age of 86?
No Contradiction at all
In the former article we have shown that Abram left Haran when he was 75. And so there is no problem with the fact that Ishmael was born in Canaan in the house of Abram, who was then 86 years old.
